The Business Development Manager MENA is responsible and accountable for (but not limited to) the following:
§ Generation of projects specification for both brands
§ Generate a categorized database of key clients in the region
§ Support sales team during tendering and approval stages
§ Secure sales projects in MENA to meet the yearly assigned targets.
§ Define and execute business plans for the defined Key Accounts.
§ Prepare concepts, Corporate Identity pitches and presentations to Key Accounts, retailers and art galleries.
§ Provide local support to IP/GKAM teams during design stages of their projects
§ Ensure that all agreed Marketing activities within the market are implemented and reviewed in collaboration with the marketing team.
§ Build & maintain relationships and provide professional advice to lighting designers, interior designers, developers and hotel operators in order to sustain market goodwill.
§ Ensure policies are respected and Code of Conduct is enforced
§ Effective use of the CRM system to ensure projects are updated, activities are reported, and KPIs are met
§ Ensure that all Credit terms are in place and are enforced. Ensure that payments are made on time.
§ Reporting on Monthly basis, the value of the sales and specification generated, the forecasted sales for future months, and other related activities
§ Perform all other duties as requested by the Head of Business Development.
Degree holder in lighting/ electrical engineering, architectural, or interior design. Advance knowledge of lighting engineering, planning and design.
3 -5 years of relevant business development, sales & marketing experience
Team leader attributes, high integrity, positive attitude, strong business mind, self-motivated, professional negotiation skills
Professional/ Specific Skills (management, technical, etc):
Marketing skills, strong presentation skills, lighting design and applications knowledge.
Knowledge of Systems is an advantage
