Job Description

Role & Responsibilities: 

  • Increase business with Data Centre by supporting sales in sales propositions for Data Centre segment based on client requests, proactive sales campaigns, distributor/partner development, partner ecosystems, RFIs/RFPs and general sales engagement
  • Formulate solutions that satisfies security and trusted identity requirements of potential customers
  • Work closely with all departments of Sales, Category Management and Solution Engineering within Client’s  Cabling to maintain on-going projects and ensure a seamless customer service and consultancy approach
  • Utilize technical knowledge and understanding of Data Centre to support acquisition of new customers, expansion of existing customer relationship, marketing events, and potentially delivery of services to a customer
  • Exercise independent judgement in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
  • Participate in problem solving and process improvement actions.
  • Establish relations with top-value chain customers: Data Centre co- locators, End-Users, Consultants, Developers, System integrators, Installers.
  • Help to generate brand visibility within chosen customers focus and assist in developing trusting relationships with customers to achieve customers’ loyalty longevity.
  • Design and build Data Centre in strict compliance with International Standards.
  • Correspond to BICSI, Uptime, TIA and other organization’s requirements such as White Paper, etc.
  • Assess Data Centre design, implementation plan, budget, installation, and commissioning until project delivery

Desired Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Engineering majors preferred
  • DCDC and/or RCDD Certification (preferred). Practical training & experience selling small/medium Data Centres and project management
  • 8 – 10 years experience sales in IT Infrastructure/Data Centre segment in GCC Proficient in English language; Arabic (optional); German (optional)
  • MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, AutoCAD, SAP
  • Excellent soft skills, customer focused, attention to detail, team player, motivated and self-driven
