Assistant Manager - Warehouse
- Minimum 8-10 years’ work experience;
- Must have been all in relevant Warehouse Management roles;
- Ideally candidates who have worked in 3PL’s, or professional companies whose main business is in Warehouse Management;
- Shouldhave a comprehensive knowledge and a background in Warehouse and Distribution Operations & Inventory Management.
Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Will take responsibility for all the companies warehouses, 13 different warehouse sheds spread across the UAE;
- Responsible for managing the full warehouse team of supervisors & workers, team of 40;
- Working on the lay out and designing and setting up of the warehouse for optimum utilization of space;
- Re-organizing the Warehouse for improved efficiency and layout of Warehouses to set up proper storage, involving pallet storage racking system, Tank storage of Alcohol & Gas and open yard;
- Training of staff at all levels;
- Constant focus on improving the existing process & procedures of the warehouse;
- Ensuring the optimum use of the workforce & reducing labor related costs.
