Manager Product Compliance and QM
The client wants an explicit cosmetics background / ideally cosmetics and/or food combined.
Product compliance is of course somehow related to QM, but ultimately it is about other aspects that are related to product complaints on the part of the above.
Institutes (e.g.) can be related. The customer needs someone who is familiar with handling these complaints.
Responsibility for the quality assurance of our own brand collection in all of our countries
Establishment, coordination and implementation of processes to guarantee product compliance guidelines, taking into account national and international legal and regulatory requirements, in particular the EU Cosmetics Regulation
Responsibility for all contact with authorities in connection with official surveillance
Artwork control and approval to ensure cosmetic or food law requirements
Control and improvement of cosmetics vigilance, in particular with regard to the EU cosmetics regulation, as well as implementation of control mechanisms
Examination of the existing range, new brands and new product ideas as part of quality assurance
Identification of local risks and implementation of preventive measures
Further development of local crisis management including preparation for worst case scenarios
Description and implementation of quality-relevant processes, such as recall procedures or hygiene plans
Close cooperation with related departments, especially the legal department
German Language Level min C1
A successfully completed university degree with a legal or cosmetic-chemical focus
At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of product compliance / quality assurance in the cosmetics industry or a related discipline
Experience in the implementation of the EU Cosmetics Directive is essential
Sense of responsibility and attention to detail
Structured way of working and clear communication
Excellent knowledge in dealing with the MS Office Suite, especially PowerPoint
Fluent in English Level C1
