Senior Business Development Manager – Smart Home Products (m/w/d)

Düsseldorf, Germany





  • Assume responsibility for business development of key European customers including but not limited to retailers, e-commerce, big brands, operators and construction companies in order to grow the smart home & IoT business by building & maintaining strong customer relationships and customer satisfaction.
  • Acquire new business as well as grow business volume from both existing and new customers in pursuit of business targets
  • Deeply develop customer resources, explore new cooperation resources, and explore cooperation partnerships
  • Gather and analyse market intelligence data
  • Agile thinking, fast action, hands-on mentality able to complete the task in an efficient time frame, whilst maintaining a focus on results


  • 5+ years of work experience, 3+ years working experience in smart home related industries, including experience with consumer electronics products, lighting, home appliances, security, energy or environmental products etc.
  • Excellent international business communication and negotiation skills, as well as a keen market insight, strong commercial acumen, and stress resistant
  • Strong learning ability; strong customer management and customer relationship management capability
  • Business analytical skills, strong planning skills, with a high degree of enthusiasm and excellent internal communication & teamworking skills
  • Familiar with channel sales, channel strategy, channel partner management are preferred
