Business Unit Director Specialty

Job Description

- Excellent execution of BU strategy aligned with OPU&ROPU strategy and to achieve short, medium, and long-term business results for assigned BU
- Ensure the development and execution of BU tactical plans with particular focus on launch and commercial excellence and deliver financial growth and profitability targets agreed with OPU&ROPU Management while managing all costs and budgets in an effective and efficient manner
- Development & execution of BU business plans and strategic initiatives by identifying the growth potential for assigned BU via analyzing financial and in-market performance such as market share growth and profitability targets
- Responsible for delivering key strategic/financial KPIs for BU
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, industry associations to achieve the business objectives.
- Ensure that all marketing and sales activities and all processes in the BU comply with Corporate Guidelines, Code of Conduct, GPP, ethical standards, and relevant legislation.

LONG TERM FORECAST (LTF) PROCESS:

- Prepare LTF and Outlook including trend analysis
- Develop LTFs proposal integrated inputs from Sales, Direct Promotion and field force FTEs

INTEGRATED BRAND PLAN (IBP) PROCESS:

- Lead IBP for BU in aligned with local market needs and ROPU strategy
- Develop TA and Brand CSFs
- Develop BU Operational Plan
- Develop and monitor Brand KPIs

LAUNCH READINESS: To ensure the preparedness of the BU to launch new products in terms of product, market, and company development

EXECUTION EXCELLENCE:

-  Execute operational plan including BU customer engagement plan
- Analyze local product performance under her/his responsibility and identifies levers for performance improvement
- Control budget usage and allocation in alignment with the agreed plans

CROSS FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION:

Lead internal collaboration between the various functional areas in particular between marketing & sales, regulatory, market access, medical affairs, clinical research

EXTERNAL REPRESENTATION:

Leading role in concept and execution of the company's representation towards opinion leaders, medical/scientific TA societies in order to develop the company's presence within BU

LEADERSHIP

- Implement the company's vision, set objectives, and provide clear direction to the BU
- Lead and develop an effective team committed to delivering stretch targets and achieving both short-term and long-term business objectives
- Act as a role model and practice AAI principles and the company's values
