Graduate Product Development Engineer

Antal International are currently representing My Client Tyres in their technical recruitment project, The companies Tyres are a world class Italian manufacturing company pioneer in the production of tyres for cars, SUVs and commercial vehicles.  Due to a wealth of projects on their pipeline My Client is looking to expand the Design team by introducing enthusiastic Product Development graduates to the Burton-Upton-Trent site.

I am looking to speak to energetic Product Design / Development Graduates who are wanting to pursue a

career with a leading global tyre manufacturer in the automotive industry.

The ideal candidate for this opportunity will have an understanding of how to develop products and projects to the highest possible standards in this challenging automotive environment.

You will need to have a technically creative profile and be capable of breaking new ground when it comes to quality performance and product design.

You will hold a technical Degree in Chemicals or Polymer Engineering

It is essential that candidates that apply for this great opportunity have a passion and thirst to expand on their knowledge of Product Development & Design Engineering. The job will involve development of current and new tyre specifications for Original Equipment applications through to industrialisation of specifications for production.

You will form part of a highly focused technical team and have the opportunity to be not only involved in business critical projects but also influence the longer term development of the business. 

Principal tasks and responsibilities include integrity of tyre specification and analysis of test performances; you will also be responsible for selected products with potential in the future to manage selected OE customer’s technical requirements. 

To excel in this role you need to have great communication skills, a flexible attitude with the ability to respond to departmental challenges. You will also need to be able to develop strong relationships with customers, colleagues both in the office environment and on the factory floor is essential.
