One of our International Clients are looking to hire an experienced Finance Manager to their International Supply and Trade team.
This is a key position within the company and one where you would be expected to work at a high level in an autonomous environment.
The main priorities for the succesful operation of the role would be:
Crude/product import/export contracts - Financial concurrence/ vetting of commercial terms, check invoices, timely payments
Risk Management controls
Adequacy of credit lines for hedging, manage trade/derivatives trade book with MTM status,
Check demurrage calculations for oil shipments + timely payments
Timely payment/receipt of all trade/derivative transactions
SAP/software - contracts/transaction data management
It is Key that you Develop and maintain healthy business relationship with counterparties, ensuring adequacy of credit lines for derivative trade, negotiate open credit terms, export advances with counterparties, coordinate audits, evaluate financial robustness of potential counterparties’ from a credit perspective and ensure protection for counterparty credit risk for trades undertaken, etc
