Our International client is looking to hire a  process development technologist to join their manufacturing team based in Liverpool. The main aspects of the role would be to:


This would suit a degree educated professional with similar experiences as detailed and preferably from the food manufacturing or nutritional sectors. Naturally, a highly organised individual would fit in to this position and build on the natural structure you could apply to the role. You may be expected to travel to other sites within the company’s asset portfolio with time away expected to be once or twice a quarter. (European)

Job Purpose


 Working with a cross-departmental multidisciplinary approach on multiple projects concurrently, working to deadlines, liaising with project team members and coordinating plans.


Dimensions of Job/Key Performance Indicators


KPI’s accountable for


•         To create project briefs for each project

•         Take ownership for all aspects of projects including scheduling and progress chasing, whilst working within a project team


Key Accountabilities

  • Projects will include the launching of new, rebranded and reformulated products from trial           production to commercial launch, delisting existing products that are no longer viable and           transferring manufacturing to new Co-Manufacturer.
  • To complete project briefs and all relevant documentation prior to commencing any project
  • To coordinate regular project meeting and update actions following each meeting which will       be sent to all members of the project team
  • Be involved within the project life cycle from start to finish
  • To keep all project documentation up-to-date
  • To carry out such work as may reasonably be requested by the Project Manager
  • To follow Company policies with regards to annual leave requests, accident notification,               health & safety etc.
  • Must be able to travel nationally and internationally when required.


Experience & Qualifications




  • Educated to a degree level or equivalent
  • Project Management training
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget


Skills & Characteristics


  • Expert knowledge of, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Microsoft Project
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is     essential
  • Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines;
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and delegate tasks appropriately
