1. Overall Purpose

As a Business Process Consultant, you need to communicate and understand the Business Process of Customers and implement company processes, whom can be from varied domains such as Logistics, Finance, Pharmacy, FMCG or Retail. You are required to implement and execute the Process using the BPM tools of the company.

We are looking for experienced individuals having business process expertise within enterprise software solutions. This is a critical and highly dependent role within the company for serving the UK clients, as the client expands its product offerings, bringing BPO technology and analytics to the logistics and supply chain industry. The responsibilities would include strong process analytics, problem solving acumen, syncing company technology to offer functional solutions to the client’s requirements. 

Initially the successful candidate would be required to work from home with regular site visits to client premises, until the client set up their London office by early 2018. This is an exciting start-up company having established only 4 years ago in India and has been serving international clients such as DHL (Global) and Kuehne & Nagel. Now on an expansion drive starting within the UK and Germany.


2. Accountabilities & Responsibility Areas

  • Solve customers’ problem using company technology and solutions
  • Quickly understand different business domains across geographies and to dive into the depths of their problems and ultimate requirements
  • Networking with customers for requirement analysis, consulting on new use cases and best practices across industries
  • Configuring and executing the customers requirement using the BPM tools of the company
  • Assisting customer with API integration
  • Handholding of customers during the initial roll out phase by conducting training, preparing and sharing required materials while also assisting in business challenges like ROI calculation, procurement of hardware etc.
  • Post successful implementation, determining what resources (knowledge, skills and abilities) are needed to successfully and efficiently execute new use cases, while managing the customer relationship.
  • Working closely with the Tech. support and Developer team for complex new use cases
  • Helping with pre-sales effort which includes scoping sessions with customers, preparing statement of work (SoW) and managing change requests


3. Desired Skills and Experience

  • Working experience in Logistics or Supply Chain industry
  • Programming experience of at least 2+ years on any language (C/C++/Java/Python etc.)
  • Strong experience in requirements elicitation techniques: user interviews, document analysis, and manage the requirements process
  • Ability to manage full 360 approach from pre-sales through to post sales client engagement focused on analysis and implementation of solutions
  • Outstanding collaboration and communication skills (Internal/External)
  • High integrity; self-starter, independent- driven to action and results.


4. Knowledge & Skills

  • BEng/B Tech. from accredited University / MBA from Tier-1 Business School
  • Good experience in intervention change management environment
  • Good organisation and planning skills
  • Strong exposure to logistics and supply chain sector highly sought after
  • Strong evaluation skills, ability to identify client requirements and best fit solution with support of company technology solutions
  • Excellent command of English language, strong communication skills (written & verbal) and analytical skills.
  • Willing to travel nationally/internationally to client sites and frequently to India HQ
  • Proficiency of Hindi language is ideal to collaborate well with India support team and technical consultants. Prior experience of working or living in India is preferred.


5. Availability & Remuneration

  • Competitive basic salary, £60-100k basic, dependent on experience.
  • Permanent Role. Candidates current notice period must be no more than 30-45 days.
  • Candidate must have minimum 2 years working experience in UK on valid working visa if not a UK/EU citizen. All appropriate visa rights to work full-time in the UK must already be in place, the company is not seeking candidates requiring employment sponsor of fresh Work Visa applications.
