My client is a leading contract manufacturer, providing World class services across a multitude of customers within the Chemicals industry.
They are currently in a position to recruit an EC&I Engineer to assist operational staff with the resolution of complex problems and implement the planned EC&I improvements to a range of chemical process plants.
The key requirements of the job include the ability to plan, prioritise and carry out inspection, maintenance and testing to the satisfaction of the planned maintenance management system, in parallel with a continuous improvement programme to meet the requirements of a number of legislations associated with a Top Tier COMAH facility.
The successful candidate will have the relevant technical expertise to make an immediate positive impact on the performance of the manufacturing plants. He/she will have the ability to work on both a macro and micro scale as the work requires it and be able to balance the varied demands of many internal customers on and off the productions units.

· Ideally candidates will be qualified to degree level in Electrical, Instrumentation or Control Engineering
· Have relevant experience in the chemical manufacturing, food processing or water industry
· Have achieved or be working towards Chartered Engineer Status.
The successful candidate will additionally be expected to achieve technical expertise in a range of DCS and PLC control and instrumentation systems.
