Purpose of Job
To be able to drive the growth and profitability targets within the European Market
for TYPE 1 Glass business and develop a sound commercial strategy aimed at maximizing
financial gains as well as enhancing customer satisfaction within the pharmaceutical
Glass Manufacturers / Key Customers in the Pharma Glass Space / Industry Bodies
for promoting Glass products
Senior Management / Finance Team / Kosamba Plant Operations / Customer Service Representatives
Role directly reports to - VP Marketing

-Leverage the Greenfield opportunity to develop TYPE 1 Vials business with Pharma
players in the European markets.
-Develop a market penetration strategy in Europe that is focused on both the financial
gain and the customer satisfaction.
-Demonstrate Technical Acumen to understand the Type 1 business and the potential edge
that it can offer to its customers
-Translate customer requirements and conduct Sampling and Trails of orders from Kosamba plant (India). Be a strong liaison between the plant and the customers.
-Be aware of the opportunities for business development and expansion in the market with
an objective of promoting TYPE 1 bottles in that market
-Focus and build on long term relationships with new and existing customers thereby
expanding lanes in the European markets.
-Identify and participate in the relevant forums/exhibitions for building networking
opportunities and associations with relevant customers and partners.
-Constantly evaluate and communicate the Glass business unique selling proposition and
differentiators by using the knowledge from market and competitors.
