Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning graduate

Job Description

Are you currently studying for your PHD and looking for Research work or having finished your study looking for a career in AI, that will not only enhance your Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning knowledge but will match your PHD funding and give you a share in the companies success and future with Stock options.

We are looking for candidates to serve as Graduate Research Scientists 40 hours work weekly which can be flexible around any other education initiative eg a post doc / PhD or Full time work.

Client information;

McKinsey consultants founded AI lab:

  • Based out of London
  • Office at London Business School, Baker street.

Two strong client relationships (in UK and Internationally) plus several consulting partnerships with ex McKinsey partners and industry leaders

Primary theme:

  • Applies interdisciplinary algorithmic research to help organisations outperform traditional businesses across industries.
  • Our core focus is on developing and optimising a continually expanding portfolio of packaged algorithmic tools that help our Clients capture breakthrough impact

Principal Activity :

  • Scale-up, optimise (for efficiency) and own 'product development' of lab's machine learning algorithms, e.g. - tools for a slice of a generic Machine Learning / AI pathway or creation of a theme-specific custom machine learning pathway. Building of high re-usability into such products.
  • Scale up and Productionize delivery of machine learning POCs for clients
  • Create tools to simplify, enhance & accelerate a data scientist's work

Additional Activities

  • Owning, planning carrying out research on AI 'product development'
  • Review of AI literature, algorithm's implementation testing & refinement

Typical profile:

  • PhD in Computer Science, Computational/Applied Math
  • Undergrad/Masters in a quantitative discipline e.g. applied mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, computer science
  • Must have a passion for learning - new computational languages, new mathematical approaches, etc.
