Candidate Profile/Job Description

Project Buyer


Representing purchasing in all cross-functional technology and customer projects on quality, costs and deadlines as well as in change management up to SOP

Carry out tenders, inquiries and evaluations of offers independently

Implement contract management and accompany negotiations with suppliers on quality, costs and deadlines in coordination with commodity purchasing

Perform project reporting on purchasing topics in the product development process

Carry out and document supplier management and risk assessments

Identify and qualify new technologies and suppliers in coordination with commodity purchasing

Responsible for target costing and the total cost of ownership approach

Identify and implement savings potential and cost reduction programs


German Language Level C1

Completed business and / or technical university degree, ideally industrial engineering

Several years of professional experience in a comparable position, ideally you have gained experience in the automotive industry

Excellent teamwork skills

Ideally, knowledge in the material fields of pipes, forgings and elastomers

Experienced handling of common MS Office applications, ERP knowledge and ideally knowledge of SAP

Intercultural competence

English Language Level B1
