Job Description

Our client provides leading edge technical solutions for OEM automotive clients (cars and buses) throughout Europe. Part of a new project was to set a new manufacturing site, a greenfield investment in Székesfehérvár, Hungary adding to the existing one in the United Kingdom. Now it is time to focus on key team players who would build the structure and culture of the operations.

Our client needs a qualified, experienced and proactive Quality Director who will set, manage and control all quality related tasks in the UK and Hungary, as part of the Business Unit Management. As new projects would arrive, new challenges and new client needs to be addressed, so we need a manager who woud be able to grow with the role. He/she will have 2 Plant Quality Managers as direct reports.


Working Experience:
a) Significant experience working in a tier1 automotive environment, ideally with management or leadership experience of a quality team.
b) Leadership skills
c) Proven people management skills – both within and outside of direct control
d) Ability to influence key stakeholders (internally & externally)
e) Education
f) Engineering degree with relevant Quality experience

Personal skill requirements:
a) Able to communicate clearly and concisely to all levels, both within the  organisation and with customers / suppliers
b) Able to work as a constructive member of a team, and have strong sense of responsibility
c) Confidence and ability to deal with customers in challenging environments
d) Professionalism; displays a positive attitude toward company strategy
e) Must be flexible and positive toward change
f) Proven ability to be able to work well and deliver results, even in times of pressure.
g) Flexible to respond to business and customer changes.

Fluent Hungarian, English essential and proficient in a third language is highly desirable
