Job Description

Lean Project- and Engineering Manager

a) Support teams to develop excellence and continuous improvement in site, be a true partner to site leader and regional management;
b) Track and report process improvement savings and benefits;
c) Coach a culture of continuous improvement and train employees on lean concepts, tools and techniques when appropriate;
d) Initiate and lead improvements to achieve productivity targets;
e) Drive method team activities to achieve labour productivity target
f) Develop team in terms of competency and performance
g) Share best practices between plants
h) Pilot improvement projects

a) Degree in Engineering or in maintenance or manufacturing management
b) 5 years experience in manufacturing
c) Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as: lean or six sigma and production system standards
d) Dynamic attitude with continuous improvement mentality and global view of Supply Chain is a must
e) Excellent presentation/communication skills
f) Change management experience/skills
g) Experience with dealing with external consultants
h) Fluent in English (French will be a plus)
i) Ability to travel
