Telesales Executive

Job Description

Job Spec:

The role will include calling to both existing business to resell and up sell products as well as cold calling businesses to create new business. This is primarily focused on the Water Cooler product range.


·       Making outbound sales calls to existing and prospective businesses

·       Deliver against specific sales performance measures

·       Converting calls using effective sales techniques to provide first class service to our customers in relation to the Company product(s)

·       Update customer details and other information in an accurate and efficient manner in the CRM system

·       Maintain an up-to-date level of product, systems and procedural knowledge by being attentive to and acting upon information advised

·       Promoting value-added services to customers

·       Ensuring high levels of accuracy are maintained at all times.

·       Consistent customer focus to ensure that absolute ownership is assumed during every customer contact


·       Good PC knowledge and typing skills

·       Knowledge of selling and negotiating


·       Ability to display excellent customer care

·       Strong telesales skills

·       Strong communication skills, both oral and written

·       Ability to work on own initiative

·       Fluency in English language both written and verbal

·       Excellent telephone manner and communication skills

·       Outgoing personality

·       Professional telephone manner essential

·       Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual

·       Ability to work to individual & team targets

·       Endurance & tenacity essential


·       Experience in a similar role desirable

·       Ability to develop great rapport with customers

·       Proven delivery in sales/telesales environment

·       Understanding of business-to-business relationships
