THE ROLE

 

HEAD OF FIELD SERVICE ITALY & GREECE

 

MAINS ACTIVITIES:

 

  • Key role in the development and review of the business Year Strategic Plan, reporting to the Field Service EMEA Director
  • Supporting the overall strategic direction for new and existing projects 
  • Responsibility of Service for Italy and Greece
  • Management of technical support organization on highly specialized products for the treatment of kidney diseases
  • Coordination of the following areas: Technical Managers, Technical Customers Support and Back Office Team
  • Global management of maintenance service contracts with hospital facilities
  • Responsibility of the Key Results Area
  • Profit and Loss management
  • Required to lead and participate in management meetings with unit management teams
  • Take decision on prioritizing demand requirements
  • Ensure daily governance to pharmaceutical  regulatory standards
  • Mentor the workforce to ensure high levels of performance and ensuring they carry out their duties to the required standards
  • Proactive collaboration with other departments

 

DESIRED SKILLS:

 

 

  • Degree in Engineering or Economy
  • 10 years of experience in managerial roles in Medical Device sector
  • Knowledge of medical devices or pharmaceutical rules
  • Experience of managing and controlling high budgets
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Experience of managing large teams of skilled people
  • Experience of establishing KPI’s and measures within a maintenance function
  • Strategic vision, business orientation and capacity of improvement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Willing to travel for 20% of time
  • Fluent English; appreciate knowledge of Greek language
