Job Description

Our client is a five star luxury iconic palazzo, part of an international hospitality group.

This property has just undergone extensive renovation and is due to open in June 2020.

Restaurant and Bar Manager will be responsible for the restaurant and the room service operations.

He/she reports to the Food and Beverage Manager and manages a team of 18.

 Main duties and responsibilities:

·         Responsible for ensuring the happiness and satisfaction of guests. Ensure that policies and procedures are complied with the highest standard of service;

·         Be able to align with our philosophy of creating authentic and unique experiences for our Guests;

·         Able and willing to motivate the team to obtain guest satisfaction  at the high end of the market.

·         Accomplish restaurant human resource objectives by orienting, training, scheduling, coaching, counselling and disciplining employees. Involved in recruitment and selection process;

·         Responsible for Restaurant financial goals and Staff rotas;

  • Budget control, working closely with F&B Manager;
  • Inventory and cost control


Ideal candidate will have a five star luxury background and at least 3 years experience in the same role.

Fluent Italian and English is a pre-requisite.

Certificate as a Professional Sommelier and/or gastronomy studies preferred.
