For a 5* resort in Tuscany, we are looking for a



Main Duties:

  • Reporting to the Director of Operations
  • Manages the operations of the front office and related areas
  • Develops and implements processes and procedures for assigned departments which support achievement of service and financial goals
  • Prepares and analyzes reports in order to develop an informative database for decision making and to communicate upcoming business throughout the resort
  • Ensures Front Office handles billing and cash in accordance with resort’s standards
  • Plans and coordinates resort housing activities by working closely with Booking, F&B, Housekeeping and other departments
  • Ensures Front Office complies with all resort policies and procedures
  • Recruits and selects qualified candidates for the Front Office department
  • Provides employees with the orientation and training needed to understand expectations and perform job responsibilities
  • Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems
  • Provides genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis
  • Acts as Duty Manager


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in 5* large resorts/hotels in the Front Office department as manager/assistant manager
  • Strong leadership, communication skills, initiative and teamwork
  • High ability to solve complaints
  • Customer orientation
  • Excellent knowledge of English, both oral and written. Preferential knowledge of German
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
