BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - Professional Lighting Sector


The role:

You will be responsible for searching for, establishing and maintaining a customer network in the professional segment. You convince these customers to plan and integrate our client’s professional light systems into their projects.

Main tasks:

-       Acquisition of customers in the area of professional lighting, as well as the establishment and maintenance of customer relationships

-       Implementation of the sales goals set by the management

-       Coordination and controlling of the sales projects and the working relationship with the responsible colleagues at the headquarters as well as the local partners

-       Determining financial sales targets (drafting of forecast and annual budgets, cost controls and analysis, possible instigation of corresponding correction measures)

-       Recommendation and development of new product lines


The person:

-       Completed Business Administration degree or a comparable course of studies; a focus on technology or architecture would be an advantage

-       Preferably several years of professional experience in the sale of technical lighting

-       Very good technical knowledge in relation to commercial lighting and LED technology

-       Assured understanding and use of sales-relevant performance indicators

-       Pronounced project management skills

-       Assured business English skills

-       Very good analytic skills

-       Pragmatic, result-oriented working style and entrepreneurial thinking

-       High levels of own initiative and motivation

-       Willingness to travel


The role will be home-based
