Acquisitions Manager

Job Description


  • Sales/Acquisitions targeting large corporate clients
  • Relevant banking experience 5years +
  • Corporate banking experience beneficial



  • Relevant degrees/diplomas


Minimum role outputs

  • Define an acquisition growth strategy in line with the predetermined growth targets, which are determined on an annual basis through conducting competitor analysis, sector analysis and innovating new value propositions by developing acquisition opportunities which align with the segment strategies
  • Market share – As set out in the target sheet
  • Revenue Growth – As set out in the target sheet
  • Turnover growth – As set out in the target sheet
  • Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customer expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions
  • Maintain expert knowledge on relevant legislative amendments, industry best practices and provision of proactive advise and solutions to relevant stakeholders
  • Maximise business portfolio cross sell opportunities and strengthen client relationships
  • Support the migration of existing merchant basic solutions to integrated requirements 
  • Prepare proposals for new acquisitions as well as existing merchants converting to integrated solutions for review by the Head of Growth and Pricing
  • Improve business decisions by providing accurate and reliable business intelligence (information) together with analyzing trends and data
  • Manage own develoment to increase own competencies
  • Manage pipeline report and provide input into any other report requirements
