Client Manager (Data BI and Reporting Solutions)

Role Description

  • Solution Development, design and conceptualize BI and reporting solutions
  • Project scoping, analysis, evaluation, benchmarking and support of various technical BI and Reporting tools and platforms
  • Design, develop and implement analytics algorithms / data processing workflows 
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve technical issues
  • Demonstrate technical leadership and be seen as an expert and partner by the client and internal stakeholders



  • Ensure delivery of technical engagements by meeting customer expectations
  • Provide expert consultation for data platform architecture and best practices to customers and internal employees
  • Prepare Estimation and Pricing for customer and internal projects 
  • Lead small to medium size projects, and manage the execution by planning project activities, assigning tasks to team, tracking and monitoring the tasks, and working with close coordination with the project manager



  • Provide training and support for internal employees and customers
  • Identify upcoming technologies and learning opportunities for the team


Business Development 

  • Need to actively contribute to Pre-Sales / BD by supporting sales and account teams
  • Author solutions for current and potential customer concerns, including responding to RFPs and developing white papers



  • Overall 15+ years of experience with 5+ years in technical leadership in Business Technology and Business Intelligence /Data Warehousing and Analytics. Must have designed and implemented DW/BI solutions and managed end to end projects on BI/DW
  • Expertise and significant hands-on (design and development) experience across the entire process lifecycle, Data Ingestion, Storage, Processing, Analytics, and Visualization
  • Experience in managing and building solution on cloud environment (AWS, Azure etc.)
  • Experience in integration of diverse data sources on the big data platform
  • Extensive hands-on knowledge of at least 2 - 3 of the BI / Reporting solutions like Talend, Pentaho, Informatica, Tableau, PowerBI etc.
  • Expert knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL
  • Expert knowledge of data management processes like Meta Data Management, Data Integration, Data Quality Management, Data Enrichment etc.
  • Knowledge in Data Analysis & Logical Data Modelling
  • Business analysis capability to work with HLDD, LLDD and other design documents
  • Behavioural Competency
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects while meeting deadlines and documenting progress towards those deadlines. 
  • Excellent communication skills (must be able to interface with both technical and business leaders in the organization) 
  • Ability to be a self-starter and can provide leadership
  • Strong analytical skills to solve and model complex business requirements 
  • Bachelor's degree in technology / engineering (preferably in computer science)
  • Experience working on Pharma /Life Sciences projects is highly preferable 
  • Fluent German is a must
