Product & Innovation Manager – Communication Efficiency (m/f)


Your responsibilities:

  • Product development & ownership:
    • Key role in developing and managing new solutions in the area of Communication Efficiency (campaign evaluation and tracking, attribution modelling, pre-testing)
    • Development of specific solutions or features in close collaboration with the ME product owner and ME's global business partners from D&T, Data Strategy and Marketing Science
    • Ensure desirability of these solutions, building on the USP and sharpen the value proposition in alignment with the overall product portfolio strategy
    • Continuous analysis of the competitive environment
    • Work closely with the Marketing Effectiveness product owners and the entire Marketing Effectiveness solution team as well as other key relevant solution teams
  • Innovation & partnerships:
    • Prioritize product ideas and define revenue models in collaboration with the product owner
    • Leverage partnerships that help to improve Communication Efficiency solutions (new and existing partners)
    • Identify data needs within the ME team and develop implementation strategies in close collaboration with the data strategy team and other internal stakeholders
    • Develop cooperation strategies and business plans for potential partnerships, including revenue and mutual benefit models
  • Thought leadership & enablement:
    • Be an internal and external thought leader for the specific area
    • Support and drive the internal and external launch of new products
    • Enable sales and solution teams worldwide to successfully sell and use the solutions, e.g. by providing trainings and sales material


Your Profile:

  • Several years in research / insight roles with a Marketing or media background
  • Excellent knowledge of the communication efficiency ecosystem including new digital competitive offerings and the media landscape
  • Very good understanding of digital and tech capabilities (tagging, metering, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Brand and Communication research
  • Experience or background in digital or data partnerships is a plus (e.g. Marketing Intelligence, DMP, programmatic advertising)
  • Passion for digital solutions, data analytics and visualizations
  • Very good understanding of client needs and how new technology can be used to address these
  • Excellent communication and client facing skills
