Our Client is seeking a Procurement / Commercial Manager with a strong track record of experience in Vendor and Contract Management, reviewing and negotiating procurement contracts in Information Technology SAAS, GDPR and Data Protection, and software maintenance contracts.

About the role

The role will involve working in collaboration with business stakeholders to establish and maintain the procurement process, including the management, review, negotiation and compliance elements of supplier contracts in line with business objectives to optimize costs and maximize efficiency and best practice, according to demand within the business.

Who they are looking for

An adaptable Procurement Manager who will manage and take ownership of the Procurement process of the company of third party products and services, including software, technology services, marketing services and professional services across the business in collaboration with the legal and finance teams.

Who will work closely with the finance team at a detailed level supporting as needed supplier onboarding, invoicing, payment discussions etc. and improvement of finance processes for Purchase Orders to enable better financial reporting.


Be able to lead commercial negotiations with suppliers taking responsibility and ownership for drafting and negotiating suitable terms and conditions and contract documentation taking into account technical and legal considerations to ensure that the business’s requirements are met or exceeded.


Manage the contractual change management process to execution.

Provide strategic contract development by renegotiation and optimizing contracts.


Experience required


  • Strong track record of experience in Vendor and Contract Management, reviewing and negotiating procurement contracts in Information Technology SAAS, GDPR and Data Protection, and software maintenance contracts.


  • International experience in implementing and maintaining procurement infrastructures.


  • Experience working within a Financial Services or SaaS provider regulated industries.


  • Experience of stakeholder relationship management at all levels.


Advantageous skills/experience:

Professional Certification (IACCM - Association for Contract Management or similar).
