Salaire : Fix+ Variable + Véhicule de fonction.

II. Job General scope.

Sales Engineer (SE), holds a key role in the sales turnover development for the region he/she belongs to and for the SBF he/she is responsible.

SE is directly engaged in building relationships with existing and new customers, promoting the benefits of Kistler’s products and services, hunting for sales opportunities, and expanding our market share.

SE strategically addresses the individual market segments (Automotive, Medical, Electric/Connectix…) and expand the Kistler business.

SE will be responsible to grow business mainly in France with specifics developments for Export Countries

The SE will report to IPC (Industry Process Control) division manager.

Job attractions:

As key member of the Sales center France team SE’s contribution is essential to grow the business. SE has a good personal knowledge and skills in the both Kistler’s technical and commercial disciplines. 

The Kistler’s group team of professionals based in Germany, Switzerland and France will be available to support SE’s business development.

SE invests himself/herself to maintain his/her skills at the required level.

Application Specialist skills confers to the Sales Engineer advanced both technical and application knowledge for a specific application market area, which is essential for the above related activities in this domain

Mission and Responsibilities :

  • Together with the group’s team support and as local IPC’s team members, you initiate and lead any activities for developing business, increasing sales turnover of customers portfolio, expanding number of customers, introducing new products, in compliance with the personal targets which will be assigned to you:
    • Follow up, call and visit your customers and prospects under your responsibility
    • According to group sales process undertake initiative to generate sales leads and qualify them for transforming sales leads into business opportunities and potential customers
    • Identify opportunities in the market.
    • Prepare and negotiate commercial offers
    • Obtain orders and gain customers long term loyalty
    • Drive company’s back office for ensuring good service and get on time customer payments
    • Drive internal sales engineer and technical service to keep them involved in your personal projects.
    • Follow up your sales achievements and sales Kpi’s
  • Thanks to the group’s tools like CRM you are regularly reporting your activity and give an objective long-term view as well as you are responsible of your sales pipeline and are establishing regular sales forecasts.
  • You maintain your personal technical knowledge about Kistler’s product, applications and market:
    • Actively participate to trainings and use supports provided by the group
    • Invest yourself in reading documents, products information’s, any market news ..
  • You are representing the Kistler’s brand promising to the market:
    • Adhere and respect corporate values and brand identities
    • Apply corporate strategies and commercial policies
    • Work according to the corporate and local processes guide lines

Qualification and Expérience :

  • Engineer or Masters degree in a technical (mechanical, electrical, mechatronics …) area with specialization in Plastic injection processes or technologies.
  • Significant working experience 10-15 Years in Commercial/sales Roles with specific knowledge for plastics and injection molding processes and industries
  • Communicational skills in English and French languages (verbal and written)
  • Able to build strong relationship with the customers ‘structures and internal Kistler organization
  • Customer focused, opportunity driven attitude
  • Accurate, reliable, effective personality, Team player
