Currently looking to speak to suitable candidates either holding at least an A-level standard in Accountancy with a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, or currently pursuing studies towards ACCA (or equivalent) and are half-way through. Working knowledge of SAGE & MS Excel would be a plus but not a must. Applicants are expected to have, first and foremost the right personality and passion, and open to work in a dynamic and friendly team environment.
The selected candidate will be assigned a varied portfolio of clients, and will form part of a professional team, receiving continuous professional development whilst at the same time gaining invaluable experience.
Duties & responsbilities:
- maintenaince of books of accounts and records
- preparation and completion of management accounts
- bank and cash reconciliations
- preparation and completion of VAT returns
- preparation and completion of income tax returns (where applicable)
- assistance to portfolio clients with ad-hoc accounting and other requirements
- liaison with portfolio clients
