Job Description

Customer Data Analytics Manager


Based in Milan, you will be responsible for setting up the Customer Profiling & Insights Team, providing consultancy to clients and implementing data tracking and analytical tooling projects. You will work with the Marketing department of our clients and with the internal Strategy, Experience and Technology teams .

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and develop reporting frameworks for measuring, benchmarking, and analyzing digital data across the customer journey
  • Ensure thorough comprehension of business goals and strategies within the Digital Analytics and other teams, fostering a proactive approach to generating insights and highlighting opportunities
  • Oversee elaboration and presentation of insights to business stakeholders
  • Manage web analytics tagging efforts to ensure thorough and accurate data capture
  • Ensure ongoing tracking of business and web KPI’s throughout the delivery and continuous improvement of digital experiences
  • Maintain a close working relationship with Strategist and User Experience Designers to facilitate data-driven feature design
  • Contribute to the definition and ongoing evaluation of clients data and analytics roadmaps
  • Act as data evangelist for client business, being a subject matter expert on trends, advancements, and best practices pertaining to digital analytics


Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in digital analytics, data management, or business intelligence
  • Experience in a people-management role would be a plus.
  • Extensive experience generating data insights in a customer-facing role or liaising with clients stakeholders, preferably with knowledge of the CRM and Digital sectors
  • Deep knowledge of customer profiling and customer journey analytics
  • Expert knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics
  • Thorough understanding of tag management solutions
  • Deep knowledge of data management and SQL querying
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools
  • Knowledge of common A/B testing methodologies and toolkits
  • Well-versed in interpreting business objectives and synthesizing relevant data, with demonstrated ability to present findings to senior stakeholders
  • Keen attention to visual data representation and storytelling, ability to present ideas rather than figures from data
  • Working knowledge of search engine marketing, display advertising, search engine optimization
  • Good level of English (and Italian for non-Italian candidates)
