Job Description

For an International Insurance Company, Banking & Insurance Division is looking for a
 

ACCOUNT MANAGER (BANKS & BROKERS)
 

Reporting to the Marketing & Commercial Director, he/she will have to contribute and implement the Company’s development strategy and set-up new strategic partnerships. He/she will also focus on reaching the quantitative / financial and qualitative objectives.


 Responsibilities:

• Development and ownership of strategic account plan
• Sale, negotiate, implement partnerships
• Implement & contribute to the business development strategy
• Prospection through various intermediaries or direct prospection
• Providing significant support to the Company’s Underwriting and Actuarial units in the analysis and subsequent underwriting actions associated with the allocated insurance programs
• Contribute to the elaboration of new products & business concepts and the commercial brochure and documents
• Coordination of resources within the company to manage and ensure the development of allocated insurance programs in line with the Company’s strategic direction
• Report regularly the business activity
• Participation in new business initiatives

 

Requirements:

• Degree in Economics or Financial disciplines
• Experience in bancassurance business development / account management/ product management
• A good network within the Financial Institution (or Insurance affinity sector) and a good understanding of the Italian insurance market
• Very good spoken and written English
• Good MS-Office knowledge, especially Power Point and Excel
• Excellent presentation and selling skills
• Result oriented
• Ability to negotiate at decision making level
