Job function: Visual Merchandising Manager
Fields of responsibility: Area: PAN India
o Ensure introduction and education/training for all Merchandisers within your country
by a training plan for first 6 months and ongoing training on day to day business
o Ensure understanding and implementation of job descriptions and merchandising guidelines within Visual Merchandiser team.
o Ensure store appearance and BS Retail India store standards according brand’s concepts, guidelines; including light, cleanliness, music, goods on the floor.
o Follow-up on execution of “helicopter trips” and visiting reports of Area Visual Merchandiser
o Execute regular store visits and re-trim sessions and a daily communication with the Area Merchandisers and Operations- and Buying Managers.
o Plan and execute regular, seasonal workshops and trainings (trends/fashion/products, news etc.) and on-site trainings for the In-store Merchandisers and follow-up on it.
o Following up on daily action (Area/Shop Visual Merchandiser) with products on the floor according sales statistics (A,B and C-area) and commercial merchandising guidelines.
o Ensure keeping windows, mannequins and walls on a high level of merchandising regarding visual and commercial aspects.
o Check sales daily and follow-up on it with Area Visual Merchandisers after and before visits
o Giving feedbacks to Area Operations Managers about performance and standards in their shops
o Ensure or send regularly picture reports ( e.g. area report) to Head of Operations, Area Operation managers, Buyers
o Participate on special attention shop-openings as training, support and following-up the correct roll out
o Prepare and monitor campaigns and events to get full effect out of the marketing costs.
· Sales and numbers:
o Follow-up on the stock age on a weekly basis and take action on it by delegation action points to your team (Monday meeting with HOP)
o Follow-up on stock rotation/stock reports and take action on it within your area in optimizing the commercial aspects of product display
(Expected minimum rotation 8 times a year – target 12 times!)
o Evaluate products, stock situation and supply and give feedback to Operations- and Buying Managers.

Your success will be discussed each 12 month. The yearly evaluation is based on the assessment tool and is decisive for increase of responsibility and salary.
