Salary: fix salary+commissions % based on Turnover (+/-50%) and Bonus/Incentive (10/25%) + Company car.

General about the rôle :
Airtech is looking for a dynamic person who is customer orientated with solid technical background.
This role will involve regular travel on a weekly basis throughout all DACH regions (Up to 50%). The successful candidate will need to have tenacity to maintain this on a long-term basis. Therefore, it is important that they have the capability to use their own initiative and work independently.
The successful candidate will be expected to understand the technical nature of the product and about process. This position reports to Senior VP - Sales & Business development manager located in US with close relationship with Airtech EU.

Key Responsibilities :

  • To perform sales and technical duties in line with marketing directives and assignments in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Czech Republic…Area could be extended in the future.
  • To fully support Airtech customers in their projects, developments and business priorities. Be a solution provider
  • To maximize sales and marketing opportunities in the dedicated territories designated. To promote Airtech new products and solutions
  • Managing a portfolio of accounts:
    • Maintains existing customer relations’ focusing in maximizing sales and margins growth.
    • Seeks new contacts and new customers in adjacency markets.
    • Promotes new products, technologies and solutions.
    • Conducts commercial discussions for up- and cross selling, assesses customer needs.
    • Translates value of new products and technologies in customer terms, consolidates the role of a reliable business partner and key supplier.
    • Sells solutions, explores new ways, ideas or approaches in order to meet customers’ needs and requirements, bringing in TS&D expertise,
    • Answers customer requests. o Drafts proposals with the right balance between customer requirements and own business priorities. o Negotiates up to conclusion; renegotiates pricing, credit limits, etc.
    • Follows up orders, service to customers, and payment status.
  • To give technical presentations / demonstrations / assistance to customers and distributors
  • Priority is to focus in Aeronautic, Wind energy, general composites, automotive…Sectors.
  • To work very closely with the commercial office located in Luxembourg to ensure the full satisfaction of customers on service, quality and support
  • To fully cooperate with Airtech global sales force under the supervision of the SVP Sales & Business development

Qualification and Experience:

  • Engineering background with previous commercial experience
  • 3-5 years’ experience in the Composite Industry – With proven experience in Sales/Commercial
  • German : mother tongue, English : Fluent, any additional language would be an asset
  • Germany Home office from Central Europe, ready to travel intensely – Up to 50%
