Division Manager - Fire & Safety

Job Description

Job Overview:

The divisional manager oversees the entire division administrative and sales tasks. This includes managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements. It also includes working with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

§  Formulating Sales Promotion, Plan & Strategy in consultation with General Manager for Division.

§  Responsible for overall achievement of sales targets.

§  Generating new business by interacting with new and existing customers and developing new opportunities and additional products to maintain a competitive edge.

§  Management of and interaction with Sales team to ensure they are all on track and up to date with current product knowledge and technology.  

§  Responsible for total function and administration of Sales and marketing within Division

§  Development of business by way of adding new products, projects and brands for the future growth of the Division which is in line with the present domain of business.

§  Researching and presenting new avenues to the management for business opportunities and Implementing business plans and projections accordingly.

§  Meeting overall Budget and profitability for the Division.

§  Consistently improving processes and managing and driving change.

§  Deal with all customers, principals, Governments etc. on behalf of the Division.

§  Overall responsibility for dissemination of external, technological commercial information of the Division

§  Ensure company operates at maximum efficiency  levels in accordance with ISO standards and ‘Lean’ methodology

§  Improve and maintain quality and safety standards

§  Overseeing and managing collection of any outstanding money due to the Division

§  Prepare and deliver monthly management reports.

§  Perform other responsibilities as requested by GM.

 

 

 

 

 

Skills and Experience:

§  MBA + Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering.

§  Minimum of 14 years managerial experience in field of marketing Fire &Safety products and Services.

§  Experience in system design and installation a must.

§  Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic would also be beneficial)

§  Business acumen with a flair for mathematics/figures

§  Industry knowledge of best practice and quality standards

§  Leadership skills with ability to create and manage effective teams
