Position Title:Brand Manager - Interparts & Engineering Products

Reports To:General Manager - Commercial Group

Function:Sales/Marketing/After Sales IP & Engg. Products Management

DESCRIPTION

  • Coaches and develops the management team to maintain, coach, develop and ensure understanding of all direct reports on all aspects of the business
  • Conducts team meetings on a daily basis
  • Ensures complete, accurate and punctual completion of all necessary reports
  • Ensures full involvement of the Business Managers. Sales and after sales staff, full understanding and engagement with finance Stock Management, and full compliance with bank regulations
  • Ensures BB, SME and Government departments achieve budgeted volume and gross profit
  • Ensures sales forecasting is understood by the Management Team whilst maintaining full transparency and accuracy throughout
  • Ensures that all HR regulations are understood and followed by all members of the team
  • Leads and coaches all members of the sales team with regards to sales processes
  • Leads and manages performance and development with monthly reviews
  • Leads and promotes white board to manage business day-to-day running and Key Performance indicators
  • Maintains quality stock control, Equipment & Inpartments movements in and out of the business whilst minimizing costs and risk
  • Promotes a full understanding of Drive Magic Moments and maximize team engagement through regular impact planning meetings
  • Promotes and maintains high levels of team engagement
  • Work and maintain all operations within the ISO 9002 and HSE standards set by the company

JOB CONTEXT:

  • The job holder is responsible for managing and controlling three functional areas of the Heavy Equipment & Interparts business unit (as per the organization chart attached) to ensure sales and customer service target achievement.
  • The job holder will be required to strategically influence the customer and build lasting relationships with both customers and Principal to create a win-win situation for all three parties i.e. Business Units, Principals and Customers. Planning will be carried out on an annual basis and reviewed each month.
