Head of Business - Supply Chain Services

Job Description

Objectives and Tasks of the Supply Chain Services Competence Centre Head

•       To issue Tenders for projects

•       To identify “HOT” targets for projects along with potential country representative

•       Assist in project selection

•       Initiate bids and tenders

•       Support bid process with resource documentation

•       Cost/Rates build-up

•       To provide global support for development and growth of Supply Chain services

•       To build-up necessary structure (coordinators, freelance and co-operation partners etc) within TS Regions

•       To standardize processes, procedures and tools to ensure conformity and quality of commercial activities, e.g. man day rates; pricing process of bidding

•       To intensify and maintain Communication and Information exchange

•       To create a  bid follow-up system

•       To create a  Inspectors (qualification) data base

•       To support Business Areas (power plant, Process etc.) in completing their service portfolio

•       Reputed consulting/inspection companies who provide complete supply chain service; MNCs in power and Oil & Gas sector who has dedicated supply chain service department with international exposure.

•       Travelling : 70% initially ( will include both domestic and international travel)
