Group Manager - Internal Audit

Job Description

This is a new role inside the Group.

We need candidates with great internal .external audit experience in industrial /production field.

Job Location: BUCHAREST or SIBIU, or HOME OFFICE based, according to the finalist candidate location

The ideal person must be willing to travel approx 20 weeks per year, in the company locations, to organise the audit plan.


The prospect is to become local CFO, within next 3-5 years, and to stabilize in the local Head office (now in Bucharest)

Now, this role is new in the company. It will be Directly reporting to the Group CFO that is located in central Europe

Key Responsibilities:

- Developing of audit programs addressing all areas of concern

- Conducting operational, financial and compliance audit projects

- Understanding & documenting business processes and internal controls and key internal controls

- Assessing the control environment and evaluation / testing of the effectiveness of internal controls

- Ensuring that the specified audit objectives are met in order to conclude on the existence and adequacy of internal controls

- Preparing timely audit reports for executive management and the Board of Directors

- Building strong relations with both Business Unit and local operating company management to ensure full management


- University degree preferably in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent

- Minimum of 5 years experience (in a Big 4 audit firm or management role in an internal audit team) - Manufacturing audit (internal/external) experience is a must!

- Professional Qualifications (CPA) is an asset - Excellent communication (both written and verbal) skills

- Extensive travel (required to travel internationally to support the Internal Audit plan of the organization); it will cover approx.13 different locations, mainly in Europe

- Committed to self development in a promising Company

- Results oriented – Meeting deadlines on assignments, juggling multiple demands, and to work with all types of individuals up to and including the CEO

- English fluent, a must; German or any second international language would be a plus
