National Sales & Business Development Manager

Our Client is a media company with global coverage who combines programmatic, big data, research and digital media into a powerful platform, used by advertising agencies and direct brand clients with 1B+ people worldwide. With offices in 5 countries they operate around the world, serving over 40+ markets.

Our Client Sales team is growing and now looking for a Business Development Manager locally in Romania.

The perfect match for this role is a born salesman with good knowledge of local AdTech market, good understanding of programmatic + experience in Adtech products sales (especially programmatic),  and wide network among digital agencies.

As a BDM Romania  you will be responsible for developing and growing new partnerships with brand clients and advertising agencies in Romania, educating them on the value proposition of Our Client DSP, listening to their needs and helping us to build a better product.

What You’ll do:

  • Prepare new product presentations, pitches in order to explain and sell our advertising solutions to the clients
  • Prepare creative proposals and present strategies to the clients
  • Close deals with largest clients in collaboration with Asia Region Manager
  • Look for new prospects (cold calling, participating in shows and exhibitions, organizing workshops, trainings and events).

What do You offer:

  • Fluent spoken and written English and Romanian
  • Experience in digital advertising sales and deal track record
  • Understanding of digital & brand marketing, digital marketing buying landscape
  • Having a strong network of clients (advertising agencies or brands such as Dentsu Aegis, OMD, VivaKi, ADV) on a C-level and among middle management plus brands,  potentially interested in Our Client products
  • Ability and willingness work independently, in a fast-paced international environment set and reach ambitious goals
  • Sharing Our Client values – growth, ownership, initiative and drive.
  • ~ 7 years active sales experience, last 4 years in digital media advertizing market.
  • Being result-driven salesman, repeatedly exceeded sales targets.
  • Your boss told you that your are one of the best in cold-calling. 
  • A must have is also  a good understanding of digital advertising and experience in selling AdTech products: Sociomantic platform with Dunnhumby, programmatic platforms Hybrid and BYYD
