Manager Operations (for a large Factory)

Our customer is one of the top multinational players in their hi-tech industries, a global successful corporation, an equal opportunity employer of choice!

For one of their large factories North-West of Romania/Transylvania, we are searching and selecting a dedicated, hands-on and engaged talent in assembly (manually and highly automated) Operations Management.

The successful candidate shall be in charge for managing and continuously improving the factory operations, using the state of the art lean manufacturing tools.

Main responsibilities include:

Manage operations functions in the plant at highest performance KPIs, within released budget, agreed timing, legal compliance and customer specifications. Safety first! Ensure always work safety, environmental protection, fire prevention complying with applicable regulations and ISO standards.

Continuously improve plant operational performance for durable productivity increase with best quality, using lean manufacturing tools. Drive Kaizen spirit in the factory by comprenesive programs of efficiency and effectivemenss increase of processes and equipment.

Drive development and implementation of new and modern production and process engineering best practices, increasing continuously plant competitveness.

Ensure accurate, complete and in time reporting of operational performance KPIs versus targets.

Contribute actively to factory budgeting using resources consciously.

Manage, challenge, motivate, promote and engage human resources in order to nurture a pleasant company culture for performance with an open and constructive communication.

Ideal candidate profile includes:

Technical university degree or production equivalent, additional education is a plus.

Fluent in Romanian language, advanced English speaker, German is a plus (not a must).

Familiar with lean manufacturing tools (Toyota Production System, 6 Sigma certification…), experienced in implementing lean manufacturing.

Experienced in production management at high level of automation, high volume and high diversity, with best material control in the plant. Familiar with SMED, OEE, TPM, NRFT/FOR, Poka-Yoke, Problem solving tools (PDCA, A3, DOE, Ishikawa, 5-Why…)…

Hands-on determined leader profile, visionary, people oriented and results driven, self-motivated with initiative and drive, dynamic, self-confident extrovert with high level of social and communication skills (top-to-bottom and bottom-to-top).

Highest level of business ethics (integrity 100%, honest), a good example for others.
