Job Title: European Group Technical Director
Reports to: Managing/ Regional Director
~ Lead the technical teams 50 people + who are responsible for architecture, planning, design and engineering, implementation, field operations.
~ Implement multi-country processes and procedures to ensure effective monitoring is implemented to aid in the proactive identification and resolution of potential problems.
~ Address the prioritization, scheduling and oversight of all network operations, projects and tasks.
~ Supervise the NOC operations, ensure all problems/failures are entered into trouble ticketing system, follow up and resolve the clients requests & complaints.
~ Manage and coordinate on-call rotation to ensure appropriate support coverage.
~ Oversee the management and implementation of technical large-scale projects and service contracts.
~ Develops, implements and maintains a multi-year plan for network infrastructure development, replacements and upgrades.
~ Oversee the support, administration and maintenance of all technical functions.
~ Manage the field operations including: configuration, deployment on site intervention and maintenance.
~ Identify opportunities and recommend solutions for improving efficiency, effectiveness and reliability.
~ Maintain and enhance a strong service-oriented environment for both internal and external customers, focused on problem prediction, detection and resolution.
~ Develop and manage the Network Development and Operations budget.
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications & Expertise
~ 10 + years of combined telecommunications and/or network operations experience, including management of multi-layered teams
~ Bachelors Degree in Telecommunication, Computer Science or equivalent.
~ Experience managing international projects.
~ Ability to design, deploy and coordinate various technical projects.
~ Strong management and organizational skills.
