Alarm Monitoring Engineer, location: Voronezh

Job Description


Scope of work: 

The main purpose of the position is to provide 24x7 service of Alarm Monitoring without interruptions to ensure alarm management on the Customers network. The Alarm monitoring engineer takes end-to-end responsibility for alarms maintenance on the Network problems ensuring trouble tickets creation, handling according to SLA & OLA requirements   


Key task of the job:         

1.       Alarm Monitoring and Filtering  

2.       Alarm Acknowledge      

3.       Alarm Analysis and Correlation  

4.       Fault Categorization and Prioritization    

5.       Trouble Ticket Create and Issue

6.       Alarm Suppression         

7.       Notification/Escalation as per notification matrix              

8.       Ensures planned outages are carried out/rolled back in maintenance window     

9.       Trouble Ticket Updates and Follow Up   



For Alarm Monitoring functions execution and quality delivery, the Service Supplier should preferably ensure that the required competences are present, namely:       


1.       Network Management Experience          

2.       Ability to work in a high-pressure environment 

3.       Incident Management Experience           

4.       Good communication skills          

5.       Technical skills: 

6.       GSM - What is it; Features and benefits; Network Overview         

7.       UMTS - What is it; Main benefits; How does it work         

8.       LTE - What is it; Architecture; Advantages & Benefits      

9.       IP - What is it; Architecture; Advantages & Benefits         

10.   Trouble Ticket - What is it; TT life cycle; 

11.   Windows/MS Office - Regular Knowledge            

12.   Russian language skills (written)

13.   Nokia IT tools and processes knowledge will be a plus.   


Additional Responsibilities          

-        Service delivery within SLA          

-        Escalation to next level 

-        Update 4booking tool    

-        SPOC in shifts    

-        Maintain and Update documentation in specific pages
