Job Title:National Sales Manager
Report to:Commercial Director
This position is responsible for the sales and profitability for the China market in order to achieve overall division and corporate goals. Responsibilities include direct selling to end users, contractors, suppliers, distributors and /or dealers. The National Sales Manager shall implement plans that result in the expansion of market share through effective handling of existing customers plus capturing new customers and orders, with the prime objective to grow the business, year over year.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
Ensure profitable sales growth of our products in the China in line with Company set targets, budgets and plans. Achieve Company overall sales objectives.
Demonstrate expertise in solving customer problems relative to product applications.
Provide timely and accurate market information including information in the areas of price competitiveness, competitor activities, competitor product information; identify competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, etc., etc.
Develop and recommend innovative ideas and tactics that will contribute to an increase in sales and market share
Confer regularly with management to recommend sales strategies and market penetration activities.
Constantly search for new opportunities to grow the business.
Ability to effectively conduct and deliver product and technical presentations to customers both written and oral.
Prepare quotes and techno commercial proposals to customers.
Identify market opportunities and develop business with focus on the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical industries.
Maintain professional relationships with end-user customers and distributors.
Conduct basic product training and troubleshooting seminars for customers.
Assure timely management of receivables.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
1.Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
2.Minimum five (5) years successful sales experience in related products/tools and/or industrial equipments.
3.Thorough and in depth knowledge of Oil & Gas, PetroChemical Industries; familiar with Sinopec, CNPC, CNOOC.
4.Results oriented, self motivated and highly driven.
5.Must be able to communicate effectively in writing and orally with all levels of the organization.
6.Experience in the management of multiple customers with the ability to balance diverse projects.
7.Excellent problem solving skills.
8.Ability to manage stress and conflicting demands, negotiate and handle set backs are critical.
9.Must have excellent organizational skills to prioritize and meet customer commitments
