Job Description


Degree with an accredited Project Management qualification such as: PRINCE 2 Practitioner; PMI Project Management

Professional (PMP) or APM Certified Project Manager (CPM)


Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 10 years Project Management experience;

Previous experiencing managing programs;

Previous experience managing projects across multiple business units and/or global boundaries;

Previous experience managing projects within the asset management industry.

South African citizens only.

Job Description

Manage the execution of Company’s strategic projects or programs within the specified and agreed upon constraints of quality, scope, time and cost.

Create and maintain project plans.

Manage project budgets.

Assist in creating Request for Proposals (RFP) and managing the RFP process.

Coordinate resources and assist with issue and conflict resolution.

Manage project risks and impacts and ensure appropriate control measures are provided and implemented.

Provide appropriate and timely feedback regarding project or program status as per agreement with relevant stakeholders.

Prepare and maintain project reports and run steercom meetings (internal as well as external).

Evaluate projects to ensure that benefits are realized.

Ensure adherence to the Project Management methodology and governance structures.

Assist in the development and enhancement of the relevant Project Management processes and          templates.

Train operational and ICT staff on how to use Project Office tools and templates.

Provide leadership, mentorship and guidance to managers carrying out projects within their respective business units.

Assist in the roll out of the Project Office throughout the Group.
