Salary: Attractive package + up to 20% Bonus

I. Company introduction:

Our Client’s main product is SWCNTs (Single Wall Carbon Nanotubes), a universal industrial additive with a wide variety of applications in energy storage, Battery, thermoplastics, elastomers, fiber reinforced composites, paints and coatings, and other industries.

Our client, the world's biggest Carbon Nano technology company, was founded in 2009, and in 2014 introduced a breakthrough technology of low-cost large-scale production of SWCNTs, for the first time enabling their wide commercial use.

Now our client’s share in global production of SWCNT is over 90%.

Present in the US, Europe, China, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, India, Russia, Malaysia, and Israel.

The Group currently employs over 400 people worldwide and has the largest SWCNT manufacturing facility in the world.

II. Job General scope:

We are looking for our client the CEO - Sales Director US – Nano Technology – Advanced Materials.

Required is a dynamic personality who is customer oriented with solid Technical and commercial background – With strong Sales experience - The role is heavily shifted to sales operation.

The successful candidate will need to have tenacity to maintain this on a long-term basis with high skills of leadership and ability to generate business by creating strong partnerships.

The successful candidate will be expected to have technical understanding of materials technology for the key market sectors, as energy storage/Battery, thermoplastics, elastomers, fiber reinforced composites, paints and coatings, and other industries.

This position reports Senior VP Global Chief Sales Officer

III. Main achievements/Missions/Objectives:

  • Execution of the Company's short- and long-term strategy in the region
  • New market, new customers acquisition – Business development
  • Leading a team of sales and technical support persons.
  • Identifying potential distributors, R&D and production partners and structuring relations with them.
  • Ensuring efficient communication between local staff and multiple divisions of the client.
  • Group: regional offices, product development, technical support, R&D, marketing, logistics, finance.
  • Day-to-day management of the Company's operation / P&L

IV. Qualification requirements:

  • A superior degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or Material Engineering, completed with MBA as an option
  • Over 7-10 years’ experience in the industry of advanced materials or chemicals.
  • Proficiency in hands-on management, ability to lead by example - Outstanding negotiation skill
  • A record of successful new product introduction (NPI) is desirable.
  • Experience of working in a quickly changing start-up environment is an advantage
  • Willingness to travel extensively, mostly US, up to 60%
  • Residence in Columbus, Ohio is an advantage.
