The primary objective of the Data Centres (DC) Sales Specialist is to promote Dimension Data’s solutions and services in such a way that is accessible by different stakeholders with different levels of technical expertise. They demonstrate Dimension Data’s capability and experience in the Data Centre area – thereby creating more depth in current client accounts, and identifying opportunities for new accounts.
This role will focus on managing a diverse set of accounts, identifying, qualifying managing and ultimately closing opportunities. This will demand key skills in virtual team management, adaptability and the ability to develop high value relationships both internally and with partners; defining customer needs, articulating the company's value proposition and ultimately positioning the company as a strategic partner.
As a Pre-Sales Consultant you will translate the clients business needs into solutions using your expertise in the Security domain. You will stay on top of the latest developments in the field, assisting the sales team in providing pre-sales consultancy for our solutions. Through your close contact with the vendor and the internal teams you will demonstrate your expertise in this rapidly changing landscape acting as a trusted advisor to our clients, partners and teams. You will visit our clients assisting the client managers in positioning our expertise and services.
The main focus of the Senior Project Manager (SPM) is to lead and direct concurrent projects classified as complex projects, cross business units. On top of this, the SPM may also work closely with a variety of stakeholders, including client, vendors and contractors in larger scale projects.
