Looking for Assistant Supply Chain Managers ( Plastic/ PVC/PPR/HDPE pipes/ Metal sourcing/ Building Materials background only) for Oman based company with a headcount of 400+ employees. Job Description:- · Accountable for Domestic & International procurement of raw material, Semi-finished goods and finished goods. · Responsible for vendor / supplier selection from all the aspects of procurement. · Should be able to study the demand and forecast from sales monthly / quarterly basis. · Responsible for e2e (end to end) procurement of materials, consumables, promotional items & packaging material etc., · Classify the suppliers / vendor from lead-time, cost and quality perspective. · Regular inquiries on the new product requirements & collection of samples from suppliers with all the product specifications and QC certificates. · Coordinate with sales on existing and NDP requirement and coordinate with Quality Assurance for timely inspection. · Responsible for customs and clearance of shipments and experienced into various modes Sea, Air & Cargo. · Evaluate the QC reports and improve the supplier performance (if any) and seek the SCM Manager inputs / decision on all the parameters of procurement. · Responsible to understand the promotional / marketing gift items requirement from sales and marketing departments. Bring quality products and items to serve the sales. · Accountable for Purchase requests (PR), Purchase order creation (PO) and follow up for approvals and send the approved POs to Suppliers / Vendors. · Any new supplier selection, to be followed the Selection process and agreement in consultation with legal and finance departments and all the clauses to be mentioned in the agreement. · Regular follow up with suppliers and provide the status of all outsourced purchases on weekly basis to sales / finance & supply chain departments enable all the stake holders to plan their orders and commitments. · Coordination with all internal and external stake holders and collect the invoices and submit into Finance & Accounts department with due verification of invoices along with receipt notes. Should be responsible to check all the payments of services and product supplies. · Coordinate with supplier and finance & account departments for LC open / TT / any other payments processes. · Maintain MIS reports for all the purchases of FG, SFG & RM and ensure all the shipments are tracked and communicated. · Responsible for primary transportation from supplier to warehouse and hands on experience into coordinating with shipping agency / forward agencies for custom clearance and shipment deliveries.

Job Description:- · Accountable for inventory & logistics planning and assess the forecast and do the procurement and production planning · Responsible to make the production capacity planning. Daily / weekly / monthly production planning and work closely with production manager on the requirement. · Responsible to maintain minimum inventory level for fast moving items which has good demand. · Responsible for adequate production planning on all fast moving and slow moving items. · Pre-planning of outsourced items to avoid any sales lose and ensure all the outsourced FG items are planned well in advance to serve the sales. · Anticipate the demand from sales team and organize the materials on time without any delay. · Evaluate the inventory aging for Techno and Coprax on weekly basis and follow up with sales on sales trend of fast moving and slow moving. · Responsible to ensure unwanted stock does not produced or procured. · Design the logistics operations network and plan the logistics to ensure the stocks are delivered to end customer safely. · Responsible for minimizing the transportation cost and labor cost with innovative ideas. · Should be able to plan the warehouse operations and deliveries in emergency cases. · Should implement best practices in the warehouse & logistics operations. · Responsible to manage all the warehouse operations and lead the warehousing team to deliver the disable output. · Evaluate the warehouse & logistics Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and improve the weak area with a detailed plan. · Should have good communication and presentation skills. · Responsible for daily in-house production and ensure required stock are produced. · Coordinate with QC department timely inspection. · Maintain minimum packaging and consumables in the production unit and warehouses. · Responsible for complete secondary transportation right planning deliveries, managing fleets & POD collection and submission in to F&A. · Responsible for improving the production capacity and time motion study (TMS) for all the in house produced products. · Machinery and manpower productivity assessment and highlight the best performance weekly basis.
