ANTAL is in charge to recruit an Account Manager Internal - Household, Industrial and Institutional cleaning chemicals
Role description:
The Account Manager Internal is responsible for managing, developing, and maintaining remotely tail end customers to maximize sales and profit. Focus is to identify opportunities and serve existing customers and prospects. The Account Manager Internal plays a key role in maintaining and improving customer relations through regular customer contacts and by introducing our comprehensive specialties portfolio.
Key Areas of responsibility:
Customer Business Development
- Develop business for dedicated customers, incl. range selling, cross selling & value-based pricing
- Execute remote sales activities: prepare, coordinate, negotiate, close proposals, respond to RFQs
- Identify high potential accounts and set strategies for converting prospects
- Identify, prioritize and contact prospects
- Manage & expand product & market knowhow
- Maintain CRM, complete relevant reporting etc.
Market know how development and management
- Maintain an up-to-date level of product, basic technical- and application knowledge
- Proactively identify customer needs/trends in the assigned focus industry together with the team
- Keep up to date with changes and updates in the market
- Help to define and support in the execution of strategic growth plans/campaigns in collaboration with the relevant sales management/ teams and Industry Marketing Management
- Uncover new business leads within the assigned customer segment
- Engage with Technical Sales Managers, Account Managers Internal in other regions to share/ learn from best practices and collaborate on new business opportunities
Admin
- Ensure appropriate data administration and documentation of all business cases in the local CRM system (e.g., post processing of customer potentials)
Required Experience
- Experienced in the chemical distribution business, preferably in a sales capacity (2 to 5 yrs)
- Economic degree or comparable qualification is an advantage but not necessary
- Mastering French language is mandatory. Good English language skills are necessary, knowledge of other foreign languages is an advantage but not necessary
- Very good communication and negotiation skills
