An Account manager position has become available in the IWT Division within the Oil and Gas Division in Secunda.
Qualifications
- A Degree or Higher National Diploma or equivalent in Chemistry/ Biochemistry / Microbiology / Metallurgy / Chemical Engineering is a pre-requisite.
- 5 Years technical sales experience.
- Supervisory experience will be advantageous.
- Petrochemical Process treatment
- Boiler water treatment
- Raw water flocculation treatment
- Cooling water treatment
- Liquid/solid separation
- Written service reports
- Having done internal service inspections of related equipment at customer’ sites
- Experience in polymer application to solid/liquid separation.
- Managing the sales account to execute the company's Africa sales strategies and meet stakeholder requirements to fund growth of the Company.
- Effectively retaining and expanding business to grow sales and profit margins to achieve business objectives
- Ensure existing applications and equipment are maintained and technical services are performed to ensure optimal performance
- Ensure that the sales efforts are aligned with Company Marketing strategy
- Coach and mentor fellow associates on Water Treatment applications.
- Leading, directing and managing teams to ensure they have clear direction, effective leadership and are well motivated and aligned.
- Managing and implementing Continuous Improvements and Projects.
- Management of current customers and developments of new business.
- Maintaining and improving SHERQ performance to deliver targeted sales at the lowest possible risk to the company.
- Ensuring that all projects and Continuous Improvement opportunities are driven, documented and prioritized.
