Antal International is recruiting for its client, an industrial manufacturing company, part of an international group of companies:

Accountant with SAP in Iasi, on-site
 

The Accountant is responsible for managing end-to-end accounting processes across Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Banking, Asset Accounting, and Compliance reporting. This role ensures accurate financial records, timely payments, and adherence to statutory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable: Process supplier invoices, manage customs documents and prepare supplier payments and correspondence.
• Accounts Receivable: Create customer invoices, manage intercompany billing, and follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Banking: Reprocess bank statements with correct VAT/clearing and verify bank account reconciliations.
• General Ledger: Upload entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and validate exchange rates.
• Asset Accounting: Run depreciation and ensure reporting aligns with Balance Sheet and P&L.
• Compliance & Reporting: Prepare VAT returns, budget comparison reports, and audit documentation.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong knowledge of AP, AR and compliance processes.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably SAP S4Hana) and MS Excel.
• Understanding of VAT, tax regulations, and statutory reporting.
• Excellent organisational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively across teams.
• Good knowledge of English, written as well as spoken.
