Job Description
Job Title: Area Business Manager
Product Segment: Medical Devices – Cardiology products/ Sutures
Location: Chennai
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining existing account revenues and Identify new business opportunities in the selected procedural areas and maintain a strong sales generation
- Ensure monthly/ quarterly/ early revenue commitments from existing dealers as well as Identify potential distributer/liaison agent
- Responsible for selling total solutions to target; non-enterprise accounts (high-risk / upselling renewals; new business)
- Responsible to drive customer engagement and product evaluation in the OT
- Establish a deep relationship with various stakeholders to ensure fulfilment of their needs
- Mapping of territory / accounts as per revenue potential and key influencers
- In-depth understanding and analyse of the competitive landscape
- Analyse impact of market trends and factors on customers
- Develop strategic account plans for closing deals and achieving sales goals
- Negotiating long term contracts
- Achieving the sales quota in the assigned territory
Requisite Skills
- Employee Specification & Key Competencies: Self-driven, competitive attitude, strong learning ability and problem-solving skills, should have clinical selling, Strong Interpersonal and Presentation skills, Good communication, Negotiation Skills, Digital Capabilities
- Total Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in medical devices or pharma sales
- Preferably 1-2 years of experience in medical device ( experience in OR)
