Job Description –
Position Title: Area Sales Manager
Role Type: Individual Contributor
Sector: Medical Devices
Position Locations: Chandigarh/Lucknow/Jaipur
Reports to: Chief Commercial Officer
Products include:
1) Saans (Emergency/Neonatology) – an infrastructure- and skill-independent Neonatal CPAP to provide short-term breathing support for babies with RDS in both transport and hospital settings
2) Fetal Lite (ObGyn) – a next-gen, ECG-based, low-skill Fetal Heart Rate monitor for women in labour
Broad Responsibilities:
Sales Turnover
○ Sell products within the designated territory
○ Lead generation and competitive conversions
○ Able to negotiate and close sales deals
○ Plan and execute demand generation activities
○ Data tracking and reporting
Territory Management
○ Develop an understanding of customer needs to identify sales opportunities
○ Identify tender/contract opportunities and work with colleagues to deliver
○ Identify and train users on new technologies and solutions through one-on-one sales calls, one-to-many training sessions
○ Prepare a plan to optimize key account development and sales growth
Qualification, Experience and Characteristics:
● A minimum of 3 years of sales experience from healthcare industry with proven track record of sales delivery
● Candidates with Paediatrics or ObGyn experience preferred
● Candidates with low-value Capital selling experience preferred
● Entrepreneurial Mindset- inclination and ability to get hands dirty and work in a constantly changing and fast-growing environment
● The ability to work independently or with cross-functional teams
