We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager – HR to manage a wide range of HR responsibilities, including end-to-end recruitment (IT and Non-IT), onboarding & induction, HR operations, documentation & compliance, background verification, employee engagement, and reward & recognition programs. The ideal candidate will bring a process-oriented mindset, excellent coordination skills, and hands-on HR experience in a fast-paced environment.
Tasks & Responsibilities
1. Recruitment (IT & Non-IT):
- Handle full-cycle recruitment for technical and non-technical roles.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand job requirements and workforce planning.
- Source, screen, and evaluate candidates through various channels.
- Conduct HR interviews and coordinate interview panels, offers, and joining.
2. Onboarding & Induction:
- Manage pre-joining formalities and ensure seamless onboarding for new employees.
- Organize induction/orientation programs to familiarize new hires with company culture, values, and policies.
- Coordinate with IT/Admin for infrastructure setup and induction documentation.
- Monitor new hire experience and feedback during probation.
3. HR Operations:
- Administer core HR functions including payroll inputs, and employee data management.
- Ensure accurate and timely updating of HRMS and employee records.
- Manage employee confirmation, transfers, exit process, and full & final settlements.
4. Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain up-to-date physical and digital employee records.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and labor regulations.
- Prepare documentation for internal, external, and statutory audits.
5. Background Verification:
- Initiate and track background verification for all new hires.
- Liaise with external verification partners and ensure timely closures.
- Address discrepancies and escalate when necessary.
6. Employee Engagement:
- Plan and implement engagement activities, team-building events, and employee communication sessions.
- Collect and analyze employee feedback and drive improvement initiatives.
- Support grievance handling and promote a positive work culture.
7. Reward & Recognition:
- Coordinate award cycles, gather nominations, and ensure transparent processes.
- Monitor participation rates and recommend improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in HR with strong exposure to recruitment and HR operations.
- Solid understanding of HR policies, processes, and employment laws.
- Proficient in HRMS/ATS tools and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and process orientation.
Added Advantage:
- Experience with ISO documentation and HR audit compliance will be considered a strong plus.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems is desirable.
